1971
It all began with the incorporation of Ban Fatt Trading in 1971 by Mr. Yap Booi Lek with limited resources. The initial business was dealing in imported lorries imported from Europe and Japan. At a later stage, assembly of trucks was added.
1979
The company moved to a 2 acres site along Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh. The core business was retail of construction and commercial vehicle imported from Japan, Europe, the USA and Canada.
1991
To accommodate and adapt to the booming business, the main operation secured the present permanent headquarters at Jalan Gopeng, Ipoh. The company ( Heavy equipment distributor and manufacturer ) by leaps and bounds became one of the top leading companies among its peers.
1999
The group of companies diversified in properties and development.
2002
A giant state-owned company in China, Changlin Company Limited - in cooperation with Komatsu of Japan - appointed B&F Group as their sole-distributor in Malaysia and Southeast Asia for Changlin’s series of construction machinery.
2003
The Assembly Plant, Changlin Machinery (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated into the vicinity of the group’s headquarters. The Assembly Plant is one of its kind in the region and it cements our leading position in the heavy equipment industry - a confidence booster and our commitment to stay at the peak of business.
2013
Appointed as a distributor for HELI series of forklifts and at the same time appointed as a distributor for Daemo’s series of breakers by Korea.
